Today, family, friends and fans attended the funeral of singer and civil rights activist Lena Horne at New York’s Church of Ignatius Loyola. {Jezebel} People under the age of 30 may not remember her career defining song Stormy Weather, but through guest appearances on shows from Sanford and Son to Seasame Street, many got to know the undeniably graceful and elegant entertainer. Throughout her career, she matured but never seemed to get old – truly, at 70 or 80 you couldn’t help but hope to be so lucky to age as well.
